Public Works Youth ? Canada Summer Jobs Program
The Rural Municipality of Ponass Lake No. 367 is accepting applications for a Public Works Youth
position funded through the Canada Summer Jobs Program. This temporary full-time summer role
provides hands-on experience in municipal operations, maintenance, and community service.

Primary Duties
* Support road and ditch maintenance activities
* Perform shop and yard cleanup, tool organization, and basic equipment care
* Assist with sign installation, culvert checks, and other municipal tasks
* Follow all safety procedures and work as part of the Public Works team
*Other duties as assigned by the Administrator

Qualifications
*Must meet Canada Summer Jobs eligibility:
*Between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment
*Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person with refugee protection
* Valid Social Insurance Number
* Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
* Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* A valid Class 5 Driver?s Licence is an asset
* Experience with equipment or basic tools is an asset but not required
