Description

The Rural Municipality of Ponass Lake No. 367 is accepting applications for a Permanent Seasonal
Maintenance Employee, employment to commence immediately. This position will remain open until a
suitable candidate is found.

Position Summary
The Seasonal Maintenance Employee performs a variety of outdoor and municipal maintenance duties.
The successful applicant will work under the Administrator at the direction of Council.

Key Responsibilities
* General maintenance throughout the municipality
* Assisting with road, ditch, and culvert maintenance
* Operating municipal equipment such as mowers, tractors, and light machinery
* Installing and maintaining municipal signage
* Performing shop and yard tasks, including cleaning, organizing, and basic repairs
* Supporting other municipal projects and duties as assigned by Council

Required Qualifications
* Valid Class 5 Driver?s Licence
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong communication skills and commitment to safe work practices

Preferred Qualifications
* Experience operating municipal or heavy equipment
* Familiarity with rural municipal operations

Compensation
* Wages and benefits are provided in accordance with the current union agreement.
