Description

Prairie Branches Ent (PBE) is a non-profit, community based organization providing residential, day program and support services for individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities.
Classification/Job title:  Direct Support Professional                            
Location:  Biggar           Home:    BDP, B1 & B2                              
Category:  Canada Summer Jobs TFT 120 hours/rotation
Hours of work: Schedule will typically include 4 shifts of 7-12 hours each week. Schedule may be adjusted with notice to accommodate outings and group home coverage. Outings may be evenings, weekends and could be 12-hour days.

Position dates:  July 2  August 28, 2026,    
Reports to:  Program Coordinator               
Nature of duties: By following the established person-centered plan programs, provides support to participants in a manner that maximizes their potential and quality of life. This includes but not limited to; participant support and personal care, administering medication, maintaining a home-like atmosphere, arranging and attending events with the participants, and administrative duties. Required qualifications:
1.    A valid Saskatchewan Drivers license.
2.    Must provide a Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check prior to employment.
3.    Willing to work with adults with intellectual disabilities.
4.    Knowledge of spoken and written English.
5.    Must be available to work shift work.
6.    Must be eligible to drive agency vehicles.
7.    Must be between the ages of 15 and 30 years at the time the position begins.
