Description

The Gravel Crusher Control Tower Operator is responsible for overseeing and controlling crushing plant operations from the control tower. This role ensures efficient production, monitors equipment performance, maintains product quality, and coordinates with ground personnel to keep operations running safely and smoothly.
Operate and monitor the crushing plant control system (cones, jaws, screens, conveyors, feeders)
        Start up, adjust, and shut down plant equipment in accordance with operating procedures
        Monitor gauges, screens, and cameras to ensure proper material flow and equipment performance
        Adjust crusher settings to maintain product specifications and optimize production
        Communicate with ground crew, loader operators, and supervisors via radio
        Identify and respond to blockages, surges, or equipment issues promptly
        Maintain consistent feed rates to maximize plant efficiency
        Record production data, downtime, and any issues during shifts
        Perform basic troubleshooting and coordinate maintenance when required
        Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
        Assist with daily inspections and housekeeping of the control tower area
