GRJ is seeking to hire an Accounting Clerk  to support our firm as we evolve and grow.  This is a full-time, permanent position based in Regina, Saskatchewan.

Job Overview
The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for managing and recording day to day financial transactions of Gerrand Rath Johnson LLP.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
o    Implementing and recording day to day financial transactions including payables, receivables, bank reconciliations, deposits to and payments from trust funds, GST and PST remittances, and daily deposits.
o    Preparing monthly financial reporting and year end reporting and record keeping for review by the Operations Manager for compliance with the Law Society of Saskatchewan requirements.
o    Work with accountants and the Operations Manager to complete audit reviews and ensure ongoing monthly and annual financial compliance.
o    Proactively manage the aging AR report list.
o    Provide monthly snapshots of AR, highlighting "at-risk" accounts and calculating key metrics
o     Collaborate with individual lawyers to ensure effective collection of accounts receivable.
o    Collaborate with individual lawyers in maintaining effective billing practices Other financial related duties as needed.

Experience:
o    Experience working in an office setting.
o    Accounting or bookkeeping background is an asset.
