GRJ is seeking to hire an Operations Manager to support our firm as we evolve and grow.  This is a full-time, permanent, managerial position based in Regina, Saskatchewan.

Job Overview
The Operations Manager will be responsible for business operations of GRJ. As a self-motivated leader in our team, the Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the business aspects of the firm independently and will also work with the Partnership to develop strategic business initiatives.  

Key Responsibilities & Duties
Financial Responsibilities:
o Oversee monthly and year end financial reporting and reconciliation as completed by the Accounting Clerk to ensure compliance, including with the Law Society of Saskatchewan.
o Work with accountants to complete audit reviews with the assistance of the Accounting Clerk.
Human Resources Responsibilities:
o Oversee all human resources matters in consultation with Human Resources Committee, including but not limited to:
Support positive firm organizational culture.
Supervise non-lawyer staff including hiring, training, performance reviews.
Make recommendations to management on staff compensation and other strategic human resources initiatives.
Assist in firmwide policy development and enforcement.
o Coordinate internal firm events, including the Christmas party, summer barbeque, and other internal celebrations and events.

Operational Responsibilities:
o Manage day-to-day office functions to ensure operations run smoothly at the firm.
o Engage with suppliers to order office supplies and other purchases as required.
o Ensure compliance with Law Society obligations and other applicable regulatory requirements.
