Description

3 weeks over summer 2026  - July 6-10, July 20 -24 and August 03-07 - Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4pm

YWCA Regina values reconciliation and respectful relationships with Indigenous peoples. We strongly encourage applications from Occupational Therapists who have experience supporting Indigenous and marginalized children and who are committed to providing culturally safe, trauma informed, and inclusive care in community based settings.
THRIVE is a Speech and Language Pathology summer camp designed to support Indigenous elementary aged youth in building communication, social, and self regulation skills through play based, strengths focused activities.

Education
Registered Occupational Therapist in good standing with the Saskatchewan College of Occupational Therapists
Experience
Experience supporting childrens functional participation using play based, strengths focused, and sensory informed approaches
Ability to deliver individual, small group, and group based interventions in a camp setting
Strong skills in observation, goal setting, and documentation
Commitment to working in ways that promote inclusion, accessibility, and meaningful participation for all children
Professional liability insurance
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong leadership, organizational, and program management abilities
Knowledge of harm reduction, trauma-informed practice, and crisis intervention approaches
