Description

Reporting to the Manager, Chief People Officer, The Manager, Volunteer Programs advances the YWCA Reginas mission and expands organizational capacity to deliver impact through the creation, execution, and continuous improvements of a strategic, innovative volunteer program. This role leads the full volunteer journey, aligning volunteer talent with program needs and creating inclusive, supportive experiences that foster long term engagement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Design & innovation (20%)
Volunteer Recruitment & Matching (25%)
Training, Onboarding & Engaging volunteers (20%)
Program Operations & Administration (25%)

Education
Post-secondary education in human resources, community development, social work, nonprofit management, or related field OR equivalent experience
Experience
2-4 years of experience in volunteer management, community engagement, human resources, or program design and evaluation.
Experience in a nonprofit, voluntary, or social service setting is an asset.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
Ability to design systems, processes, and programs that are scalable and sustainable.
Skilled at balancing strategic thinking with direct program execution.
Proficiency with volunteer management or CRM software.
Commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and the mission of the YWCA.
