Description

In this role, you will:
-Assist in operating raisebore and longhole drills and all associated equipment.
-Assist in the moving, set-up, teardown, and placements of raisebore/longhole drilling equipment and drills.
-Assist in the installation and removal of bits and reamers.
  
Required:
-minimum grade twelve education or equivalent;
-previous work as a drillers helper in a mining environment;
-minimum of two years underground work experience;
-strong organizational, problem solving and communication skills;
-rotating day shift/night shift schedule; and
-work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft.

Recommended:
-experience with raisebore or longhole drills;
-experience in longhole drilling and blasting; and
-ability to operate small pieces of equipment (skid steer).
