Northlands College is seeking an Instructor for our Addictions, Community and Mental Health Professional Year 2 program. The Instructors primary responsibility will be to provide instruction and tutorial support to students registered in the Addictions, Community and Mental Health Professional Year 2 program. Areas of instruction may include, but are not limited to: Human Development, Counseling Theories, Recreation for Recovery, Cycles of Abuse and Trauma, Indigenous Well-Being Practices, Addictions and Recovery, Emotional and Behavioural Challenges, and student field placements.
The Instructor will play a crucial role in ensuring program learning objectives are met, and students are engaged and supported throughout their learning.This position will be reporting to the appropriate academic Supervisor.
Candidates should have a minimum of a Bachelor of Social Work, Bachelor of Education, or a degree in a related field. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered. The term starts on August 24, 2026 and ends on June 04, 2027.
