Northlands College is seeking an Instructor for our Addictions, Community and Mental Health Professional Year 1 program. The Instructors primary responsibility will be to provide instruction and tutorial support to students registered in the program. Areas of instruction may include, but are not limited to: Introduction to Psychology; Complexity of Youth Addiction; Therapeutic Interventions for Families; Indigenous Models of Healing and Practice; Counseling Theories; Human Development; Recreation for Recovery; Case Management and Assessment; and Pharmacology.
The Instructor will play a crucial role in ensuring that program learning objectives are met, and that learners are engaged, supported, and motivated to succeed.This position will be reporting to the appropriate academic Supervisor.
Candidates should have a minimum of a Bachelor of Social Work, Bachelor of Education, or a degree in a related field. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered. The term starts on August 24, 2026 and ends on June 04, 2027.
