We are looking for an experienced Engineer II, Hydrotechnical to join our collaborative team and provide engineering support across the investigation, risk assessment, operation, maintenance, monitoring and evaluation, design, construction, and rehabilitation of water management infrastructure assets.
With extensive industry experience, the individual in this role will provide guidance, mentorship, and oversight to other engineers within the discipline. This position also carries professional responsibility for reviewing and supporting the work of junior employees.
You will also lead the evaluation of moderately to highly complex hydrotechnical monitoring data, along with required office and field activities, to assess the performance, condition, and safety of WSAs hydraulic structures, including conducting on-site inspections of hydraulic components.
You will contribute to hydrotechnical database activities that support technical monitoring, participate in and/or undertake requisite hydrotechnical analyses, and prepare or review reports, drawings, and other technical data to ensure adequate documentation of work activities, asset conditions, and performance.
The successful candidate will have a degree in Engineering, a license to practice professional engineering from the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS) and 8 years of related experience.
