Position Summary
The Communications & Program Specialist supports program delivery while leading communications and digital presence. This role includes content creation, social media management, and program coordination.
This is a 1-year full-time position, and the successful candidate can be based in Regina or Saskatoon with a hybrid work arrangement. Occasional evening or weekend availability may be required for events.
Key Responsibilities
Manage communications across digital platforms
Maintain consistent branding, messaging, and tone
Manage social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook)
Develop and manage content calendar
Monitor engagement and track performance metrics
Create digital content including graphics and videos
Support communications strategy
Support coordination of programs and events
Manage participant communication, registration, and logistics
Assist with program promotion and reporting
Qualifications
Post-secondary education in Communications, Marketing, or related field
2 to 4 years experience in communications or digital marketing
Experience managing multi-platform social media
Strong writing, organization, and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva or Adobe tools
Experience in content creation (written, visual, video)
Experience with nonprofits or community programs is an asset
