Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our breakfasat team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting delicious Starbucks beverages and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. Weekend availability is required. Shifts begins at 6:30 am.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages such as coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Take customer breakfast orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate espresso machines and other equipment to make quality drinks
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures

Experience:

- Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred
- Knowledge of basic math for measuring ingredients and handling cash
- Experience with food preparation, including making beverages
- Familiarity with cash handling and cashiering procedures
- Ability to work well in a team environment and assist others as needed
- Understanding of food handling and food safety guidelines
