Apex Ag & Truck Ltd. is hiring a Heavy Duty Mechanic Apprentice / Agricultural Equipment Mechanic / Entry-Level Shop Hand.

We are willing to train and apprentice the right candidate. This position is ideal for someone looking to start a career in the heavy-duty, trucking, or agricultural equipment repair industry.

You will gain hands-on experience working on semi trucks, trailers, diesel engines, farm equipment, and heavy machinery in a fast-paced shop environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist with heavy-duty truck and trailer repair and maintenance Support repairs on agricultural equipment and farm machinery Perform oil changes, inspections, preventative maintenance, and basic mechanical work Help diagnose mechanical issues (training provided) Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop Assist journeyman mechanics with daily shop operations

Qualifications:
Strong work ethic and reliability
Willingness to learn and build a career in the mechanical trades Interest in heavy-duty mechanics, diesel engines, or agricultural equipment Mechanical aptitude (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver?s license

Experience:
Entry-level applicants welcome
Experience in mechanics, farming, trucking, or equipment operation is an asset

Apprenticeship:
Employer is willing to register and support an apprenticeship for the right candidate
Wage / Salary: To be determined based on experience
