As Manager, Public Relations, you will lead SMA's in-house, full-service communications function-driving strategy, managing high-impact campaigns and stand-out events, and elevating the Association's profile with the public, government, members and stakeholders. You will be the architect of our story, and a contributor to our government relations efforts.

What You'll Bring
5+ years of leadership experience in communications, public affairs, or marketing
A degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Political Science, or related field
Exceptional writing and storytelling skills-able to translate complex issues into compelling narratives
Proven experience managing media relations and issues management
Digital fluency across social, web, and content platforms, with an eye for analytics and performance
Strong political acumen and the ability to navigate complex public policy environments
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines
Experience delivering polished, successful events and working with external vendors
A collaborative mindset, sound judgment, and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
Assets: Industry familiarity and marketing experience.
