About the position: The Maintenance Technician contributes to the health team by providing daily operations, maintenance and monitoring of building systems to ensure a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for all LLRIB Health Services clinics/facilities. The Maintenance Technician will report directly to the Operations & Maintenance Supervisor and will work with other team members.
Monitor LLRIB Health Services building systems in all five (5) communities in La Ronge, Hall Lake, Grandmothers, Bay, Little Red River, and Sucker River;
Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contract tradespersons for major repairs;
Perform safety and security checks
Perform preventative, corrective maintenance and minor repairs, on building equipment and components;
Troubleshoot and repair minor mechanical, electrical, or plumbing issues;
Supervise other workers
Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair;
Work with minimal supervision;
Ensure building operations comply with building codes, regulations and safety standards;
Maintain clean and organize mechanical rooms and workspaces;
Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal, or landscaping coordination;
Maintain logs, checklists, and maintenance records;
