Description

Responsible for managing the day-to-day and long-term operations of the Maintenance Department, ensuring the upkeep and functionality of all hotel facilities, including guestrooms, building exterior (facade, sidewalks, parking lot, etc.), and all public and back-of-house areas. Performs and oversees routine maintenance and repairs, including drywall installation and repair (patching holes, taping, mudding, sanding, and painting), along with general plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work. Schedules and ensures completion of regular maintenance on all hotel equipment, including HVAC systems, electrical equipment, laundry facilities, and pool systems. Develops and implements a comprehensive preventive maintenance program to maintain optimal performance of all building systems and ensure every guest suite is in excellent condition. Conducts regular inspections, responds promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, maintains accurate records, and ensures compliance with all safety standards, contributing to a consistently high-quality guest experience.
