Hours of Work: 37.5 weekly, flexible

Reporting to the Chief Impact Officer, The Director, Grants & Funding Development leads the strategic identification, pursuit, and stewardship of grant and funding opportunities that sustain and grow YWCA Reginas programs and services. Reporting directly to the CIO, this role is a key driver of organizational capacity; translating mission into funded impact. The Director brings expert-level knowledge of the grant landscape (government, foundation, and corporate), leads end-to-end grant cycles, and builds the internal infrastructure and relationships needed to diversify and grow YWCA Reginas revenue base. This role works in close collaboration with program leaders, Finance, and the Executive team to ensure YWCAs funding strategy is bold, coherent, and deeply aligned with the organizations commitment to equity, decolonization, and feminist values.

Experience
    Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in grant writing, fund development, or a closely related role, including experience at a senior or lead level.
    Demonstrated track record of successfully securing significant grant funding from government and/or foundation sources.
    Experience managing the full grant cycle: prospecting, proposal development, award administration, reporting, and relationship stewardship.
    Experience working within or in close partnership with a non-profit or public sector organization.
    Experience supervising or mentoring staff or contractors.
