The Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Regina is currently seeking a reliable, experienced, and self-motivated Full-Time Maintenance to join our team. This position requires availability from Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend shifts as needed.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in general building maintenance and the ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and preventative maintenance on hotel facilities, including guest rooms and public areas.
Complete a wide range of maintenance tasks, including:
Carpentry
Basic electrical and plumbing work
HVAC system maintenance
Painting and drywall repair
Flooring repairs, tiling, grouting, and silicone application
Conduct interior and exterior upkeep, including landscaping tasks
Repair and maintain guest room furnishings, lighting fixtures, and equipment.
Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of public areas
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff
Qualifications & Requirements:
Proven experience in general maintenance and building systems
Strong ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Professional attitude with strong customer service skills
Physically capable of lifting and performing hands-on tasks
Willingness to assist guests and team members as required.
