The Meadow Lake and Area Early Childhood Services requires an Early Childhood Consultant to work in a home based program. Opportunity to travel to rural and northern communities is part of what makes this a great position.
Based in Meadow Lake, Consultants will assist children from birth to 6 years of age who may have, or develop, a disability. By providing regular home visits, Consultants provide information, resources, support, and opportunities to assist caregivers in meeting the needs of their child. The Early Childhood Intervention Program has a strong connection to providing positive outcomes for parents and children alike. There will also be some duties in the Specialized Support Program working with Jordan's Principle Applications.

Qualifications:
-Minimum Certificate in Early Childhood Education, or other related Diploma or Degree in Human Services field
-Experience working with special needs children and their families is an asset
-Ability to work cooperatively with other agencies and professionals
-Valid driver's license to operate in Saskatchewan required
-A clean Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check required
