Administrative Support - Trade Desk Processing
The Processing Team is responsible for processing all trade-related requests. The team provides support to all advisors and their assistants in the office.
Responsibilities:
Administrative support
Process daily financial transactions accurately and in a timely fashion
Manage and follow up on all Internal and external transfer requests
Respond to inquiries in a professional and prompt manner
Communicate with advisors, assistants and third parties to ensure requests are completed efficiently and all "not in good order" (NIGO) trades are resolved.
Review all documentation for accuracy prior to processing
Maintain and update the Trade Desk procedures manual to ensure current and accurate information.
Administer client-name GIC entries and renewals within internal systems.
Experience in a bank, credit union or investment firm an asset.
Provide reception support as required.
o Answering phones
o Assisting walk-in clients
o Booking appointments
o Coordinating courier shipments and mail.

Proficient in a Windows-based environment, including Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet applications.
Supervision
This position reports to the Operations Manager as well as the ownership group of Mercator Financial
