Description

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Regina, SK, for a Database Analyst/Developer under the Canada Summer Jobs Grant Program (NOC: 21223). The Database Analyst/Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing database systems to support organizational needs. Key tasks include:

    Pull the existing data to design and develop database architecture for information systems project.
    Design, construct, modify, integrate, implement and test data models and database management systems.
    Provide training/advice to staff using the database regarding the selection, application and implementation of database management tools and maintaining data integrity.
    Design and testing tools to analyze data.
Qualifications

    Strong skills in Database Administration, Database Design, and Data Modeling.
    Demonstrated Analytical Skills to evaluate and optimize data-related operations.
    Understanding of database security and data integrity best practices.
    Excellent problem-solving abilities, communication and attention to detail.

Grant Requirements:

    Be aged between 15 and 30 years old on the start date of the job,
    Have a valid Social Insurance Number, and
    Canadian citizen, a permanent resident of Canada, or a person with granted refugee status in Canada.
