Description

Reports To Director of Operations, Carry the Kettle Nakoda Nation is seeking a motivated and experienced leader to manage housing programs, infrastructure, and public works services. This role plays a key part in ensuring safe housing, reliable infrastructure, and quality services for community members.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Housing, Maintenance, and Public Works teams
Manage housing programs (applications, waitlists, tenancy, rent collection)
Oversee infrastructure (roads, water systems, waste management, facilities)
Coordinate maintenance, inspections, and emergency response
Lead construction and capital projects (budget, contractors, timelines)
Prepare reports, manage budgets, and support long-term planning
Respond to community inquiries and support service delivery
Qualifications
Post-secondary education in Construction, Engineering, Business, Housing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
35 years of leadership or management experience
Experience in housing, public works, or infrastructure
Knowledge of First Nations housing programs (CMHC/ISC)
Knowledge in Federal/Provincial Loan Guarantees
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Requirements
Valid drivers license
Criminal Record Check (required if selected)
Ability to travel and work flexible hours
