We are seeking a skilled and reliable Journeyman Refrigeration Technician to install, maintain, and repair refrigeration and HVAC systems in residential and/or commercial settings. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, a solid understanding of refrigeration systems and codes, and the ability to work independently while delivering high-quality workmanship and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

-Install, service, and repair refrigeration and HVAC systems, including walk-in coolers/freezers, rooftop units, and air conditioning systems
-Diagnose system issues and determine effective repair solutions
-Perform system checks, pressure tests, and leak detection
Handle refrigerant charging, recovery, and system evacuations in accordance with regulations
-Install and service compressors, condensers, evaporators, and control systems
-Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
-Provide professional customer service and clearly explain repairs or maintenance to clients
-Follow all safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies

Required Qualifications:

-Valid Journeyman Refrigeration Mechanic/Technician certification
-Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, HVAC systems, and related controls
-Experience working with a variety of commercial and/or residential systems
-Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
-Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
-Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
-Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
