Description

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Administrator, Finance, Human Resources & Administration is responsible for supporting the finance, human resources and administration functions of Autism Services. This position is an integral part of the office support team, involved in assisting and supporting the Director of Finance, CEO, Office Manager and Management Team with administration related to the finance, HR and administration function and administering policies and procedures that will assist in improved administrative effectiveness of the agency.
Qualifications:
-A certificate or diploma in business administration with an HR and/or payroll focus or related education.
-Experience as an HR Administrator, familiar with labour standards and experience with the human resources lifecycle for a period of at least 2 years.
-Experience with financial administration, including experience as a Payroll Administrator, Payroll Clerk, or in a similar role is preferred, with knowledge of Canadian payroll practices, employment standards, tax regulations and immigration as it relates to employment.
-Strong knowledge of payroll processing systems, preferably ADP.
-Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel, and other data tools.
-Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
-Responsibilities include recruitment & onboarding, backup for payroll administration, prepare payroll reports & audits as needed, apply HR policies & support legislative compliance, assist in annual T4 review, WCB claim support & filing, administer SGI claims, vehicle registration & insurance, create forms, memos, templates, and any other related HR or Finance tasks as required.
-This is primarily an in office-based position.
