Description

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Operator / Class 1A Driver to join our team.  This position involves operating a variety of earthworks and heavy construction equipment, as well as highway truck and trailer combinations.
This is a hands-on role requiring safe, efficient operation in active work environments around crews, equipment, and traffic. The successful candidate will also assist with site coordination, planning, and crew support.

Duties and Responsibilities
          Operate heavy equipment and highway truck/trailer combinations
          Work safely around workers, equipment, and vehicles on-site and on road
          Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance on equipment and tools
          Assist with site setup and cleanup
       Load and unload materials and equipment
          Follow all company safety policies and contribute to a strong safety culture
          Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and clients as needed

Required Experience & Qualifications
          Valid Class 1A Drivers License with relevant driving experience
          Proven experience in earthworks, construction, or related industries
          Experience operating multiple types of equipment, such as:
            o Excavator
            o Dozer
            o Skid Steer
            o Wheel Loader
            o Rock Truck
          Strong understanding of job site safety procedures
          Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods
          Ability to work independently and as part of a team
          Strong work ethic, reliability, and leadership capability

Preferred Qualifications
          Demonstrated progression into roles with increased responsibility
          Experience supervising crews or coordinating work on-site
          Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
