CHEP Good Food Inc. is seeking a Cooking Outreach Intern to support community-based food programming. This position assists with the planning and delivery of cooking workshops and nutrition education initiatives, with a focus on increasing access to healthy, affordable food and building practical cooking skills within the community.

The Cooking Outreach Intern will work alongside program staff to prepare for and facilitate workshops, ensuring spaces are welcoming, inclusive, and engaging for participants of diverse backgrounds. Responsibilities include supporting food preparation, setting up and cleaning kitchen spaces, and helping ensure all activities follow safe food handling and sanitation practices.

The intern will also assist with program coordination, including sourcing ingredients, organizing materials, and supporting outreach efforts. This role requires strong communication and teamwork, as well as the ability to interact respectfully with community members and contribute to a positive group environment.

This is a hands-on position ideal for individuals interested in food security, community development, and experiential learning. The intern will gain practical experience in program delivery, kitchen operations, and community engagement while working within a collaborative, mission-driven organization.
