Description

Saskatchewan Pension Plan (SPP) is offering an opportunity to join a growing, provincewide pension organization committed to member service, professional excellence, and internal career development. Located in Kindersley, SPP provides a collaborative environment where employees are supported to grow while contributing to the success of a fully funded, governmentcreated pension plan serving more than 32,000 members with over $900 million in assets under management.

SPP is seeking a highly organized, energetic, and selfmotivated professional to serve as Senior Member Education Officer. The ideal candidate is passionate about retirement education, confident engaging members in proactive discussions, and comfortable collaborating across departments to enhance the overall member experience. This role suits someone who enjoys building relationships, delivering presentations, and providing trusted guidance on retirement planning and investment decisions.

The position requires strong knowledge of Canadian retirement products, defined contribution pension plans, personal finance, and investments. A Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation is mandatory, along with excellent communication and presentation skills. Candidates typically bring an Administration or Commerce degree, CFP certification, and industry credentials such as CIFC or CIFOC, supplemented by pension or financial services experience. Additional assets include completion of PPAC or CEBS and several years of relevant industry experience. Successful candidates must complete the Canadian Investment Funds Course within six months of hire.
