Summer Student JobKikinahk Friendship Centre is seeking motivated and reliable Summer Program Assistants to support a variety of community-based programs and services. These positions provide an excellent opportunity for youth to gain hands-on experience while contributing to meaningful work that supports children, youth, and families in the La Ronge area.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with planning and delivering youth and community programming
Support recreational, cultural, and educational activities
Help supervise children and youth in a safe and respectful environment
Set up, clean up, and maintain program spaces
Provide general support to staff across multiple programs
Assist with community events and outreach activities
Follow all safety, confidentiality, and organizational policies
Qualifications:
Must be between 15-30 years of age (Canada Summer Jobs eligibility)
Candidates who obtain a drivers license are considered an asset
Ability to work well with children, youth, and the public
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Reliable, responsible, and positive attitude
Experience working or volunteering in a community setting is an asset
First Aid/CPR is an asset (or willingness to obtain)
