Description

Prairie Branches Ent (PBE) is a non-profit,
community based organization providing
residential, day program and support services for
individuals with intellectual and physical
disabilities. PBE is inviting applications for:
Classification/Job title:   SILP Worker

Location:  Biggar, SK                                                          Home: N/A    

Category:   Part -Time:  20 - 30 hours/week

Hours of work: The schedule is flexible to accommodate the needs of the clients.

Date posted:  May 1, 2026       Salary: Follows the CUPE wage grid

Start date: on or about June 1, 2026    Reports to: Program Coordinator        
                
Nature of duties:

By following the established person-centered plan programs, provides support to participants in a manner that maximizes their potential and quality of life. This includes but not limited to: teaching / facilitating / mentoring daily living skills such as meal prep, personal care, budgeting, employment skills, and social / recreational activities.  

Required qualifications:

1.    A valid Saskatchewan Drivers license & a reliable vehicle.
2.    Must provide, or have on file, a Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check prior to employment.
3.    Passionate about working with adults with intellectual disabilities.
4.    Knowledge of spoken and written English.
5.    Be available to respond to emergency needs as required.
6.    Able to be self-directed and self-motivated.
