Job Responsibilities
Check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement materials
Direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade
Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement
Operate power vibrators to compact concrete
Level the top surface of concrete according to the grade and depth specification
Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures
Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
Waterproof, damp-proof and restore surfaces
Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
Estimate costs and materials
Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
Ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
Monitor quality control and ensure that all work meets industry standards and client expectations
Supervise and coordinate the activities of concrete crew members, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards.
Train and mentor junior crew members to develop their skills and expertise in concrete construction.
Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.

12th Grade
Experience
2-3 years of relevant industry experience
Salary
$33.60/hr
Benefits
Overtime Pay (1.5 times of hourly wage after 40 hours of working in a week and or after 8 hours in a given day).
Vacation pay as per Saskatchewan Standards (3 weeks or 5.77% of vacation pay)
