The City of Warman invites applications for
Transportation Operator Level I

The City of Warman is seeking to fill the full-time position of Transportation Operator Level I in our Public Works department. Under direct supervision of the Transportation Lead Hand, the Transportation Operator level I is responsible for all the daily operations & maintenance of city streets, sidewalks, ditches as well as and not limited to water and wastewater responsibilities.


Requirements:
    High school education plus three to five years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    The ability to obtain and maintain necessary certifications needed to run all the equipment at level I (skid steer, gravel truck, garbage truck, genie/bucket truck and backhoe) and take additional courses as needed and/or required.    
    Must possess a valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Drivers License with clean abstract.                                                                                                                                              
    Mechanically inclined with aptitude for operation of motorized mechanical equipment.
    Physically fit and able to perform manual labour for extended periods of time under various weather conditions.
    Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds or more.
