Description

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Construction Supervisor to join our team in a senior leadership role.  This position combines leadership, planning, and hands-on equipment operation while overseeing heavy construction projects.  

The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of heavy construction practices, safety procedures and team coordination.  As a supervisor, you will ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with management through all phases, from bidding to execution
- Lead construction crews and manage on-site operations
- Promote and support our COR Certified safety program
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, dozer, and trucks as required
- Coordinate teams to ensure efficient project delivery
- Communicate effectively with management and crew members
- Complete daily documentation and reporting

Requirements
- Previous experience in construction supervision or leadership roles
- Strong understanding of construction safety procedures
- Experience operating heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, wheel loaders, and skid steers
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans
- Strong leadership, work ethic, and problem-solving skills

Assets (But not required)
-Ground disturbance, Leadership for Safety Excellence, SCOT, OHC Level I and II, PHSM, First Aid
-Valid Class 1A driver's license
