Description

The Rural Municipality of Lumsden No. 189 is accepting applications for the position of a Full-Time, Permanent Heavy Equipment Operator to begin immediately.  

The successful applicant will possess:
    Minimum 3 years of grader operation experience;
    Valid Class 1A license (drivers abstract will be required);
    Experience in the operation of heavy equipment, including but not limited to snowplows, excavators, tractor, skid-steer and loaders would be an asset; and
    Prior knowledge of and experience with municipal road maintenance and related skills, will also be considered an asset.

Duties of the position include:
    Performing daily operating assignments and equipment maintenance;
    Maintain accurate equipment logs and maintenance forms; and
    All other assigned duties as required.

Wage is based on experience but ranges from $27.16 to $36.35.  This position offers Health, Dental, Vision and Pension benefits.
