In this critical role, you receive and assess emergency calls, dispatch fire and emergency crews, and provide clear, accurate communication that supports responders and protects the community. Your ability to think clearly under pressure helps save lives when it matters most.
What You Bring
- Strong listening and communication skills in high pressure situations
- Ability to remain calm, decisive, and accurate when handling emergencies
- Comfort working rotating 12 hour shifts including nights and weekends
- Confidence using computer systems, radio equipment, and maps
