SYSTEM SUPPORT TECHNICIAN

Were hiring a Systems Support Technician to join our IS team (12-month, full-time). This is a hands-on role focused on keeping our systems, devices, and accounts running clean, stable, and consistent across the division. Youll work across schools and central office, balancing on-site support with behind-the-scenes technical work, with an emphasis on reliability, thoughtful troubleshooting, and making things work the way they should all as part of a team thats easy to work with, supports each other, and still manages to have some fun along the way.

Reporting to the Manager of Technical Operations, the successful applicant will have a Grade 12 diploma along with completion of a recognized one- or two-year technical program in computer science, information technology, or electronics technology. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. This role requires strong knowledge of computer hardware and operating systems software, including Microsoft Windows Desktop OS and Microsoft server OS as well as experience with local and wide area networking and TCP/IP. A minimum of two years directly related experience is preferred. A valid drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle for work purposes is required.
