Description

Rethink Bioclean's Mechanical division is looking for a dedicated Construction Technician to join our Commercial Kitchen Hood and equipment Install Team. The ideal candidate will assist with various construction projects, supporting skilled tradespeople and ensuring the smooth progress of building activities. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the HVAC construction industry while contributing to the successful completion of diverse projects.

Duties

Ductwork installation; On-site welding; Kitchen hood and components installation;

Operate basic hand and power tools safely under supervision
Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment
Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the project lifecycle
Read blueprints/engineered drawings for instructions
Travel with coworkers in company vehicle from Regina to other Saskatchewan locations.
Requirements
5 years experience in construction field
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
Strong work ethic with a focus on safety and teamwork
Prior experience in welding and/or ductwork installation or related fields.
Basic plumbing, carpentry, mechanical knowledge would be helpful.
Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently
Good communication skills and reliability
Valid drivers license is required
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks on-site
Willingness to work long days. Overtime and weekend work may be required, with extended days off between projects to balance hours worked and work/life quality.
This position is vital for supporting construction operations and ensuring project success through hard work, safety awareness, and teamwork.
