Description

Saskatoon Public Schools is currently accepting applications for full-time Restorative Action Program (RAP) Facilitator positions, beginning August 27, 2026. Successful candidates will play a key role in supporting students and advancing the vision, values, and mandate of RAP. RAP Facilitators facilitate, coordinate, and deliver the programs core components in collaboration with students, school staff, families, and community partners.

Applicants must hold a post-secondary degree in a related human services field, with preference given to candidates with backgrounds in social work, education, human justice, or a related discipline. A minimum of five years of related experience working with youth in areas such as conflict, violence, and threat assessment is required. Candidates must demonstrate knowledge of community partners and service providers, along with experience establishing and achieving collaborative goals. A strong understanding of First Nations, Mtis and/or Inuit cultures and family systems, as well as an awareness of the experiences of newcomers and immigrant populations, is essential.

Applicants will have demonstrated experience in conflict resolution and mediation within structured settings, as well as supporting youth experiencing conflict, violence, abuse, crisis, addictions, mental health challenges, and suicide risk, including threat assessment (to self and others). Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills are required, along with experience developing and delivering training to individuals and groups. Additional training in areas such as suicide intervention, mediation, and threat assessment will be considered an asset.
