Royal Drug Mart is seeking a Front Store Manager for a six-month term position, with the possibility of extension.
This role is responsible for leading front store operations, overseeing staff, inventory, and promotions, and supporting the Store Operator to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
-Lead front store operations aligned with strategic objectives and Neighbourly Pharmacy policies
-Manage front store staffing, scheduling, and performance
-Oversee cash handling, daily reports, banking, deposits, and store security
-Support hiring, discipline, and terminations in collaboration with HR
-Manage inventory control, cycle counts, and preferred supplier programs
-Assist with budgeting, purchasing, pricing, and inventory strategies
-Plan and execute promotions, merchandising, signage, and POP materials
-Monitor market trends and manage shrinkage, returns, complaints, and pricing accuracy
-Ensure proper opening/closing procedures and day-end processes
-Support the Store Operator/Pharmacy Manager with additional operational needs.
Qualifications:
-3+ years of retail management experience (preferred)
-Strong leadership, communication, and people-management skills
-Professional, customer-focused approach
-Giftware merchandising experience considered an asset
-Valid drivers licence required
-Criminal Record Check required
Schedule:
-40 hours per week
-Store hours: MonFri: 9:00 a.m. 6:00 p.m. Sat: 10:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m.Sun: 11:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m.
-Shifts scheduled within operating hours; weekend availability required.
