Role Description:
This is a contract role for an on-site Office Manager in Saskatoon, SK. This position runs during our dance season, from September to May. As an office manager, you will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day operations. You will handle payments and invoices, answer emails, communicate with instructors and dance parents, and perform other office duties. Your role also includes coordinating costume ordering, competitions, and recitals. Light cleaning at the end of your shift is also expected. We value your initiative to learn from and improve our processes. Excellent customer service is required for this job.

Responsibilities and Required Skills:
    Highly dependable and strong work ethic
    Organizational and time management skills
    Excellent customer service
    Computer skills
    Knowledgeable with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
    Use of dance software (Studio Director and BAND App)
    Understanding our class schedule, classes offered, etc.
    Take payments and enter payments into the customer (dance family) account
    Answering phones
    Attend paid monthly meetings - one Sunday per month
    Emailing and answering emails
    Empty garbage cans at close
    Check and restock bathroom supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, soap dispenser)
    Light cleaning - sweep hallways and stairs
    Prepare reports and spreadsheets (such as expenses, amounts owing, etc.)
    Emailing/calling families with outstanding balances
    Enter competitions
    Order costumes and prepare expense spreadsheets
    Help with measuring students
    Communication with staff (staff are asked to provide documents at specific times of the year  costume selection, music, hair and makeup requirements, etc). Responsible for reminders, collecting the documents or requesting the information. We use Slack as our communication platform.

Qualifications
    At least two years of a business degree program, or at least two years of office management experience.
