This is a full-time, on-site role for a Procurement Officer based in Regina, Saskatchewan.
Working across departments, the Procurement Officer will support efficient sourcing, strong vendor relationships, and fair, transparent purchasing processes.
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or contract administration
- Post-secondary education in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and compliance
- Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable collaborating across teams and advising staff
- Experience in non-profit, housing, or public sector is an asset
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate procurement activities across the organization
- Manage RFQs, RFPs, and tender processes
- Evaluate proposals and provide recommendations
- Support development and administration of contracts and agreements
- Track renewals, timelines, and vendor performance
- Maintain organized, audit-ready procurement documentation
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
- Ensure compliance with policies, funding agreements, and regulations
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
