GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY
As a member of the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency (SCA) Senior Leadership team, the Director of Epidemiology, Analytics and Surveillance is accountable for providing collaborative leadership and expertise in the development, implementation and evaluation of policies, procedures, programs and initiatives that support and advance the Agencys mission, values, policies and strategic direction.
The Director, Epidemiology, Analytics and Surveillance leads the department with deep subject-matter expertise and a strong foundational mandate. The Director is responsible for ensuring the department operations use modern, innovative practices, which focus on stakeholder confidence, and positioning EAS as a strategic partner with and within the broader organization.
The Director, Epidemiology, Analytics and Surveillance partners and collaborates with Executive Leadership, Directors, Managers and external partners and is accountable to lead the surveillance, epidemiology and analytics activities for the SCA. The Epidemiology, Analytics and Surveillance Department provide the organization and the province with quantitative and qualitative information across the cancer control continuum used to monitor cancer and the cancer system in Saskatchewan.
