JV Concrete and Gravel Inc. is seeking a concrete mixer truck and equipment operator.  In this position you will primarily operate concrete mixer trucks, wheel loaders, and skidsteers, and assist with day-to-day operation of our concrete business.  With supervision and experience, you will learn how to operate the batch plant.

Responsibilities:
- Competent and safe operation around workers, equipment, worksites, and on the road
- Deliver concrete products with mixer trucks
- Work reliably within tight delivery schedules, which may mean flexible work hours or shifts.  The regular shift is Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work which is typically planned ahead.
- Work with team members to ensure efficient project completion
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, and clients, including contractors and end users in commercial, agricultural, and residential settings.
- Complete daily inspections of trucks and equipment, and perform basic maintenance
- Assist with stocking and piling raw materials, and organizing and cleaning the plant and yard

Experience:
- Must have Class 3A license, with relevant driving experience
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Knowledge of construction industry safety protocols and procedures
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment
- Experience in the concrete industry is an asset but not required
- Experience operating mixer trucks, wheel loaders, concrete batch plants, and skidsteers is an asset but not required.
