Description

The Director of Communications and Marketing lead the execution of the YWCA Reginas integrated marketing and communications strategies, tactics and approaches. This role leverages storytelling, effective design and strategic channel selection to create connection and build trust in the YWCA Regina, increase engagement with our programs and services, and promote awareness and action on key issues and topics related to the YWCAs mission and impact.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Develop and Deliver Integrated Marketing & Communications Plans (60%)
2.Measure Effectiveness and Demonstrate Communications Impact (20%)
3.Strengthen Organizational Voice Across Channels and Audiences (20%)

Education
Undergraduate degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
Experience
Minimum 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in communications and marketing leadership experience considered an asset.
Demonstrated success developing and executing strategic communications in a complex organization.
Experience in integrated communications and engagement, brand management, and digital marketing.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills across multiple channels.
Knowledge of communications and marketing best practices and measurement approaches.
Keen interest in building upon current and new relationships.
Demonstrated commitment to anti-oppression, equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Knowledge of the non-profit sector in Saskatchewan and familiarity with regional and national funding landscapes.
