Description

The Regina Food Bank is a charitable, community-based organization working to eliminate hunger and food insecurity through nutritious food distribution, education and support programs, in partnership and cooperation with the community.

The Warehouse team member is responsible for receiving, cataloging incoming product, unpacking, arranging and storing product, and gathering, packing, preparing and loading of product and hampers for dispatching.  Warehouse workers check stock for damage and wear, report faults and discrepancies to the Supervisor and mark and label stock.

You will work with a dedicated and diverse group of people, and gain experience in client service, communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities:
- Ensuring cleanliness, tidiness and safety of work environment.
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
- Accepting delivery of inventory.
- Counting and confirming inventory.
- Inspecting inventory for damage and faults.
- Communicating errors to relevant parties.
- Marking and labeling stock.
- Storing inventory in accessible manner.
- Loading and wrapping stock on pallets.
- Building loads with forklift and electronic pallet jack.
