Job Description: Reporting directly to the Director of Care, Providence Place (PP), the Clinical Educator position operates as a vital element of ensuring excellent care is provided at Providence Place. The Clinical Educator embeds the mission, vision, and values of Providence Place as a guiding principle and foundation in the education and expertise provided to staff. A key component of this role is to provide clinical expertise, guidance, and support to front-line care providers. Along with the resident care managers oversight, this position demonstrates influential leadership in elements of resident and client care as necessary to ensure education and quality improvement initiatives are embedded into practice.

Experience
- Minimum of 3 years clinical nursing experience
- Recent geriatric nurse experience is preferred
- Previous administration experience
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
Licenses
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
Other Education and Training
- Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable
