Key Responsibilities
Research & Analysis
Identify gaps, challenges, and barriers to healthcare recruitment and retention
Engage healthcare providers, admin, and community members for input
Monitor provincial and federal programs, funding opportunities, and initiatives
Recruitment & Retention Initiatives
Collaborate with healthcare organizations and relevant agencies on recruitment efforts
Promote available incentives, supports, and opportunities
Stakeholder Engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, government representatives, and community leaders
Act as a liaison between CHHAP and key stakeholders
Reporting & Administration
Provide regular updates and reports to the Board
Prepare written reports and recommendations
Act as secretary to the Board and coordinate meetings
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required:
Valid Class 5 drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Proven ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
Preferred:
Background in healthcare, public administration, or a related field
Experience in research, advocacy, recruitment, or community development
Familiarity with rural healthcare systems and challenges
Experience working with boards, committees, or government agencies

Working Conditions
Remote, home-based work environment
Regular travel within the region and occasional travel beyond
Contractor responsible for providing own equipment (vehicle, phone, computer, internet, office supplies)
