Doodle Bug Day Care is seeking a responsible, professional, mature, energetic and committed individual who enjoys working with children to join our team. We provide childcare for children between the ages of 6 weeks and school age.

Requirements:
ECE Certificate or Diploma or willingness to obtain
Experience working with children
Current First Aid/CPR
Current clear criminal record and vulnerable sector check
Ability to supervise children and maintain ratio in a safe environment
Planning and executing developmentally appropriate activities and participating in physical activities
Teaching values, manners and responsibility while encouraging child-led activities
Cleaning, organizing, sanitizing environment
Potential need for opening and/or closing duties

Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.)
- First Aid Certificate/CPR
- Early Childhood Education Equivalency Certificate, Diploma or Degree

Early Childhood Education Skills
-Provide opportunity for creative expression through the mediums of art, dramatic play and music
-Provide supervision and guidance of daily activities, field trips and special activities
-Plan and develop child care and nursery school programs
-Prepare craft materials and assist children to use them
-Observe children and report on observations to supervisor
-Guide children in development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits
-Conduct and monitor activity programs designed for young children.
