Our client is seeking a Millwright Journeyperson to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair of mechanical equipment and machinery both in the shop and at customer sites as well as fabricating parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set up.
Candidates must have strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, sound comprehension of conveyor dynamics and material handling fundamentals, and must be able to understand and read engineered blueprints and drawings. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are required as the incumbent provides technical guidance and mentorship to junior millwrights and apprentices.
You must be able work with minimal direction, can pass drug and alcohol testing, have a clean driver's abstract, are willing to travel and to work overtime and irregular hours.
